One 16 oz. bottle of Cool Down treats cooling systems of 12 to 20 qts. For systems over 20 qts., one ounce of Cool Down is required for each additional quart. For straight water applications, an additional 50 percent of Cool Down is recommended, while diesel applications require twice the normal amount. Treatments last for one year or 30,000 miles, whichever comes first.
